Welcome to WhoBakeShe! I am Huda Hubaishi, the heart and hands behind every cake, cupcake, and treat you see here. I've loved baking for as long as I can remember. Ever since I was a kid I would find any excuse to bake something just because. As I grew older and life got busier I didn't get to bake as much.... until COVID!

Being stuck at home, I started baking nonstop for family dinners, friends' birthdays, and any excuse I could find. Day and night my (my moms) kitchen became a little hub of experiments, with my friends and family as my "taste testers." What started as a hobby quickly grew into something more meaningful.

A close friend kept encouraging me to share my creations online. I hesitated, being in the DMV, I thought there were already so many home bakers, and I wouldn't stand out. Eventually, my friend created an Instagram for me - WhoBakeShe! The name comes from a playful take on my last name, Hubaishi, inspired by my brother's Instagram handle, "WhoBayShe"

And just like that, WhoBakeShe was born. Since then; it's been an incredible journey of creating, sharing, and connecting through baked goods. Every order is more than just dessert, it's a little moment of happiness I get to be part of. I hope one day one of my creations can bring a little extra joy to your day!

I truly do not have enough good words to describe this company and the owner.

I was first introduced to Huda approximately three years ago. As a lover of a well executed and scrumptious cake I was on the lookout for a new baker that was local and skilled both in flavor and in designs for special events.

I have purchased birthday cakes from several well-known bakers in Northern Virginia, and Maryland but I continue to come back to whobakeshe. It's gotten to a point where I have tried her chocolate chip cookies her pistachio Knafe cheesecake, ice cream, and her cupcakes...to name a few :) it's clear I became a loyal customer and fell in love with what Huda creates.

I trust this business so much that I solely came to them for my wedding cake. Every flavor combo I've thought of in my head every design (most recently a double chocolate cake for my sister-in-law's baby shower with the theme of " a little wild one"/safari) She has executed perfectly.

I have received so many compliments whenever I bring her sweet to share with family and loved ones.
